Black Activated, a community born in 2015 amidst a troubling shift in the American social and political landscape, marked by a surge in overt racism targeting people of color, particularly Black individuals. Our founding purpose is to delve into the intricacies of contemporary Black existence, unraveling the intricate web of causes and effects shaping our lives. Within our community, we explore the diverse spectrum of Black identity, examining both external definitions and our own collective perceptions. It’s a journey marked by misconceptions, confusion, and divergent approaches to addressing our shared challenges. Through education and solidarity, we aim to unite all who embrace their Black identity, fostering empowerment and liberation for Black communities worldwide. Join us as we strive for the collective upliftment and emancipation of our people.
